It’s been 10 years since I first started using this service. 10 years since I started gaining weight and looks like they’re gonna make 2025 me even BIGGER with the things they’re promising to bring.
Why do I choose foodpanda over all the other services?
- I’ve never had a bad experience with the service – drivers are polite, are prompt, and deliver complete orders. I haven’ had to call one back to tell them they missed one part of my order.
- I want food delivered pronto. They specialize in food deliveries. ‘nuff said. – I’m a pretty simple person. I have to be. I’m a farmer. And if I need something, I expect to get what I pay for.
Other reasons I have are pretty shallow. I like the color pink. As an animal lover, I love pandas. I love them enough to travel to Singapore just to see them in person.
Everywhere I go, I see the foodpanda logo which then prompts me to add the store I viist as a possible place to order through the app in the near future. Because foodpanda is so widespread here in Davao City, we have come to expect it as a part of the service food providers offer to their customers.
They also seem to be very supportive of local businesses. I remember when we had a small kagikit shop way back in 2021. As soon as we gained a little bit of traction, we were contacted by a foodpanda representative.
Although that didn’t really materialize because we shifted our focus onto other things, it still felt nice being recognized by a big company enough to deserve a little outreach effort from them.
It gives me that feeling that foodpanda is aware of the things that are happening in their area of operations which in turn has translated over into more trust and success from both the providers and the customers in the app as a service.
But more than that, I think foodpanda just appeals to me as a person because there is a character there in place of a logo that makes my conenction with the app or company just a little bit more personal over others who just have logos emblazoned in bold letters.

Here’s to BIGGER things in 2025, 2026, 2027, and beyond.
